On Your Turn

What you can do during your turn.

1
Choose your action
On your turn, you must either play a card or pass
2
Play a card face-down
Place one card from your hand face-down onto the spice card pile and announce its number and spice type
3
Bluff freely
Your announcement may be true or false - you are allowed to lie
4
Start a new pile
When playing the first card of a new pile, announce a number (1, 2, or 3) with any spice type of your choice
5
Continue the sequence
When adding to an existing pile, announce a higher number than the previous one while keeping the same spice type
6
Reset after ten
After announcing 10, you must announce 1, 2, or 3 of the same spice type
7
Correct wrong announcements
If you make an invalid announcement (wrong spice type), take your card back and draw one card as a pass penalty
8
Pass your turn
Instead of playing, say "pass" and draw one card from the deck; the next player then takes their turn
9
Challenge a card
Any player may challenge the top card of the spice pile by placing their hand on it and stating what they believe is wrong (the number or the spice type)
10
Resolve challenges
Flip only the top card face-up; only the challenged attribute matters
11
Win a challenge
Collect all cards from the spice pile face-down in front of you without looking at them
12
Lose a challenge
Draw 2 cards and start a new spice pile
13
Understand wild cards
Wild spice cards match all three spice types; wild number cards match all numbers 1-10
14
Wild card challenge rule
If a wild card is challenged for its wild attribute, it automatically loses the challenge
15
Announce your last card
When playing your final card, you must announce it loudly
16
Forgotten announcement penalty
If you forget to announce your last card, take it back and pass by drawing 1 card
17
Earn a prize card
Receive a prize card when your last card is not challenged, OR when your last card is challenged and you win the challenge
18
Prize triggers drawing
After collecting a prize card, draw 6 cards from the deck
19
Continue after lost challenge
If you lose a challenge on your last card, the game continues normally

Winning

How to claim victory.

1
Instant win by second prize
The game ends immediately if any player collects their second prize card - that player wins
2
End when prizes depleted
The game ends immediately when a player takes the last (third) prize card
3
End by deck depletion
The game ends when the End of World card appears on top of the draw pile - stop drawing immediately and do not take this card
4
Calculate final scores
Each player scores 1 point per won spice card, plus 10 points per prize card, minus 1 point per card remaining in hand
5
Example scoring
1 prize card + 24 won cards - 4 cards in hand = 10 + 24 - 4 = 30 points
6
Determine the winner
The player with the highest total score wins
7
Handle ties
In case of a tie, all tied players share the victory
