Roll season dice
The first player takes dice matching the current season and rolls them

Draft dice in order
Starting with the first player, each player chooses one die and places it in front of them

Leave one die unchosen
The remaining die determines how far the season token moves at round's end

Perform die actions
Execute the actions shown on your chosen season die

Summon power cards
Play power cards from your hand by paying their summoning costs

Activate power cards
Use activation effects on cards already in play

Use bonuses
Spend bonuses from your individual board for special advantages

Gain energy
Take energy tokens of the type(s) shown and place them in your reserve (maximum seven tokens)

Gain crystals
Move your sorcerer token forward on the crystal counter by the number shown (mandatory)

Increase summoning gauge
Move your token one space forward on the summoning gauge

Draw a card
Draw one power card and either keep it or discard it

Transmute energy
Convert energy tokens to crystals according to the transmutation chart for the current season

Pay summoning costs
Discard the required energy tokens and/or crystals shown on the card

Check summoning gauge
Your gauge must equal or exceed the number of cards you'll have in play

Place the card
Put the summoned card face-up in front of your individual board

Announce effects
Read the card's effects to all opponents

Entry effects
Activate immediately when the card is summoned (black circle symbol)

Permanent effects
Remain active for the rest of the game (curved arrow symbol)

Activation effects
Trigger when you choose to activate the card (star symbol)

Exchange energy
Trade two energy tokens from your reserve for two of your choice from the stockpile

Enhanced transmutation
Transmute energy and gain one extra crystal per token transmuted

Increase gauge
Move your summoning gauge forward one space

Enhanced draw
When using the draw card action, draw two cards, keep one, discard the other

Track bonus usage
Move your bonus marker one space for each bonus used

Bonus limit
Maximum of three bonuses may be used during the entire game

Resolve mandatory actions first
Complete "gain energy" and "gain crystals" from dice before other actions

Perform remaining actions freely
Execute other actions in any order you choose

Advance season token
Move it forward by the number of dots on the unchosen die (1, 2, or 3 spaces)

Check for season change
When crossing spaces 3, 6, 9, or 12, a season change occurs

Check for year change
When moving from space 12 to space 1, advance the year token

Gain new cards on year change
Add cards from the corresponding library token to your hand

Select new first player
The player to the left of the current first player becomes the new first player

The new first player rolls the dice for the current season
