Players develop Mallorcan farms near Esporles village, competing for the prestigious "La Granja" title. Across six rounds, expand your estate with fields, extensions, and helpers while delivering goods to earn victory points. Success demands strategic planning, timing, and adaptability to dice rolls and card draws. Highest scoring player claims the coveted estate.

Get Ready

Setup the game with these step-by-step instructions before diving into your turn.

Choose player color
Each player takes 1 Player Board (Farm), 4 Donkey tiles (one of each kind), 25 Player tokens, 1 VP, and 1 Silver

Place Trade Commodity marker
Put 1 Player token on your Trade Commodity space

Deal starting cards
Shuffle all Farm Cards and deal 4 face-down to each player, placing remaining cards as the Draw Deck

Prepare Roof tiles
Sort Roof tiles by Round number face-down into random stacks equal to the number of players, place on corresponding Game Board spaces with Round 1 tiles face-up

Set up Craft tiles
Sort the 24 Craft tiles onto their designated spaces and place 1 VP on each stack

Determine Building Order
Roll 1 die and place Building Order Markers 1, 2, and 3 on three unique building locations rolled, placing 1 VP with each Order Marker

Create dice pool
Use 5 dice for 2 players, 7 dice for 3 players, or 9 dice for 4 players
8
Assign turn order
Choose Start Player to receive Turn Order Marker 1, distribute remaining markers clockwise in ascending order

Place Market tokens
Each player places 1 Player token on a Market Space of value equal to their Turn Order Marker +1
10
Stack Siesta discs
Place discs in reverse turn order on the "0" space on the Siesta track

On Your Turn

What you can do during your turn.

Play cards
Play 1 card (or 2 cards in Round 1) into a side of your Player Board

Adjust hand
Draw up or discard down to Hand limit shown on Player Board

Take Income
Collect resources according to Blue Craft tiles and Farm Extensions

Place Harvest Goods
Put 1 Player token on each empty field as Harvest Goods

Breed Pigs
If you have at least 2 Pigs and space for another, place 1 Player token in a Pig Stall

Purchase Roof tile
Each player may buy 1 Roof tile from the current Round in turn order, paying the cost and placing in leftmost space (maximum 5 tiles)

Roll dice
The Start player rolls the Revenue dice

Choose primary die
In turn order, each player chooses 1 die and performs its action

Perform leftover action
In turn order, all players perform the action of the remaining die

Select Donkey tile
Each player secretly chooses 1 Donkey tile; played tiles cannot be chosen next round (reset on Round 4)

Advance on Siesta track
In turn order, advance according to number of Hats; cannot advance beyond top space

Redetermine turn order
Reorder according to furthest position on Siesta track

Make deliveries
In turn order, carry out 1 delivery per Donkey by taking 1 Farm Good from a Field, Den, or card and adding to Market Barrow or Craft Building row
14
Pay for extra deliveries
Pay 1 Silver per additional delivery available on Farm Extensions

Return Helper markers
Return Player Markers from used Helpers

Score Marketplace
Gain 1 VP for each Player Marker in the Marketplace

Score Siesta track
Gain VP according to position, then reset the track

Refresh Roof tiles
Discard remaining tiles, reveal tiles for coming Round

Flip Craft Markers
Turn all Craft Markers to the infinity side; instant benefit no longer available

Convert Trade Commodities
Exchange for: 4 Silver, 1 marker in 2 different Dens, draw 1 card, play 1 card, gain 1 Pig, or upgrade 2 Resources free

Buy Resources
Pay to purchase and add to relevant Den or Stall

Upgrade goods
Pay to upgrade Grain/Olives to Food, Grape to Wine, or Pig to Cured Meat (including on Fields)

Sell Resources
Sell from Dens or Stalls, but not Fields

Activate Roof Markers
Use face-up Roof tiles then flip them face-down

The game ends after the 6th Round

Sell Resources in Dens and Stalls, but not Fields

Convert Trade Commodities
Exchange each Trade Commodity for 4 Silver

Convert Silver to VP
Gain 1 VP for every 5 Silver

Determine winner
The player with the most VP wins

Break ties
Most remaining Silver breaks ties
