2-4 players 30-40 min 7.2 Board Game Geek Rating

Players simultaneously place identical tiles drawn by one person to create jungle paths on their boards. Race four explorers through the paths you build to reach corresponding temples while collecting treasures along the way. Game ends when someone reaches all temples or tiles run out. Highest score wins.

Get Ready

Setup the game with these step-by-step instructions before diving into your turn.

Distribute player components

Each player receives a board, 4 adventurers and 4 temples in 4 different colors, and 36 jungle tiles with identical colored backs

Create treasure stacks

Set up treasure stacks for each temple based on player count: 2 players get 5/3, 3 players get 5/3/2, 4 players get 5/4/3/2

Arrange treasure by value

Sort each stack in descending value order with highest number on top, then place stacks in middle of table

Place adventurers and temples

Each player places an adventurer on the beach, then places a temple of the same color in the jungle, repeating until all 4 pairs are placed

Prepare jungle tiles

Start player shuffles their 36 jungle tiles and creates a face-down stack; other players sort their tiles by number and place face-up for easy retrieval

On Your Turn

What you can do during your turn.

Reveal a tile

Start player turns a jungle tile face-up and announces the number to all players

Find matching tile

All players locate the same numbered tile from their own supply

Choose an action

Each player must either lay the tile or discard it to move:

Follow movement restrictions

Only one adventurer may occupy each tile, and adventurers cannot leap over other adventurers

Collect path treasures

If your adventurer ends movement on a tile with gold or crystal, take that treasure

Claim temple treasures

If your adventurer reaches a temple of matching color, take the most valuable remaining treasure of that temple's color and leave the adventurer there permanently
