Run an imp family business breeding magical pets for Dungeon Lords in this worker placement game. Simultaneously deploy imp groups of varying sizes to act first, then raise demanding creature cubs by fulfilling their needs through cards. Sell fully-grown monsters for profit while entering contests to showcase your pets. Victory comes through accumulating the most points from sales and competitions.

Get Ready

Setup the game with these step-by-step instructions before diving into your turn.

Identify Bob's gray bars
Bob the Blob has gray-colored bars on his pet card that will change color during play

Note Bob's flexibility
Bob has no fixed shape or personality, making him adaptable to your needs

On Your Turn

What you can do during your turn.

Choose Bob's color (Phase 3)
Before drawing cards and before using the Crystal Ball, select one color: green, red, yellow, or purple

Apply color to gray bars
All of Bob's gray bars become the chosen color for the entire round

Draw appropriate Need Cards
Draw the correct number of Need Cards matching Bob's chosen color

Assign Need Cards
Assign Need Cards of that color to Bob based on his transformed bars

Add accessories freely
You can still assign accessories to give Bob extra bars in the accessories' colors (only gray bars change)

Lock in color choice
Once chosen, the color remains fixed until the end of the round

Choose diet type (Phase 4)
When showing off Bob the Blob, decide whether Bob eats meat or vegetables

Apply diet restriction
Bob will be either a carnivore or an herbivore for the rest of the round
