Examine your hand
The storyteller looks at their 6 image cards

Give a clue
Think of something to say about one card and announce it out loud without revealing the card

Choose clue format
The clue can be one word, several words, an onomatopoeia, a poem line, song lyric, movie title, proverb, or invented phrase

Select matching cards
All other players choose from their hand the card that best illustrates what the storyteller said

Submit cards secretly
Each player gives their chosen card face-down to the storyteller

3-player variant
Non-storyteller players each submit 2 cards instead of 1

Shuffle and reveal
The storyteller shuffles submitted cards with their own, then reveals them randomly on numbered spaces 1-12 on the scoreboard

Vote secretly
Each player (except the storyteller) places their voting token on their voting board to indicate which image they believe is the storyteller's

Restriction on voting
Players cannot vote for their own submitted image

7+ player option
Players may use their second voting token to vote for a second image

Reveal votes
Once everyone has voted, all players reveal their voting boards

Reveal answer
The storyteller announces which image was theirs

Score if everyone or no one guesses correctly
The storyteller scores 0 points; all other players score 2 points each

Score for partial success
If some but not all players find the storyteller's image, the storyteller scores 3 points

Score for correct guessers
Each player who found the storyteller's image scores 3 points

Award bonus points
Each non-storyteller player scores 1 bonus point per vote their submitted image received, maximum 3 bonus points

7+ player bonus
Players who voted for only one image score 1 extra point if they found the storyteller's image

Move rabbit tokens
Advance each player's rabbit on the score track according to points earned

Refill hands
Each player draws cards to return their hand to 6 cards (7 in 3-player games)

Reshuffle if needed
If the draw pile is exhausted, shuffle discarded cards to form a new draw pile

Pass storyteller role
The player to the left of the current storyteller becomes the new storyteller
