Players invest in hotel chains by purchasing stock and placing tiles to expand businesses. When companies merge through strategic tile placement, majority stockholders earn substantial bonuses while others can cash out or trade shares. Victory goes to the wealthiest player after accumulating money through smart investments and profitable mergers.

Get Ready

Setup the game with these step-by-step instructions before diving into your turn.

Place the game board in the center for all players

Place building tiles face down near the board and thoroughly shuffle them

Choose a player to be the banker who will distribute stocks and handle money throughout the game

Banker places the seven headquarters buildings and stock cards (sorted by hotel chain) on the stock market tray

Banker gives each player $6,000 in cash

four $1,000 bills, three $500 bills, and five $100 bills

Banker separates remaining bills by denomination into four separate piles near the board

Each player receives one Stockholder Information card and places it in front of them

Collectively decide whether shareholder bonuses go to TWO top shareholders (Classic Mode) or THREE top shareholders (Tycoon Mode) - flip information cards to chosen variant

Decide whether players' money and stocks are public or secret information

Determine first player

each player draws a building tile and places it face up on the corresponding space on the board; player closest to 1A goes first, play proceeds to the left; leave these tiles on the board

Each player draws six building tiles and keeps them hidden from other players

When connecting two or more chains:

Buy Stocks

After placing a tile and resolving any mergers, you may buy up to three stock cards from any active hotel chains; prices depend on chain name and size per the information card

Draw a Tile

At the end of your turn, draw one building tile from the face-down pile
