Players collaborate as farmers protecting Stardew Valley from JojaMart Corporation by completing Grandpa's Goals and restoring the Community Center. Each turn, farmers choose locations to gather essential resources through activities like farming, fishing, mining, and animal care. Success requires collecting specific resource tiles within twenty seasonal turns before the deck expires.

Get Ready

Setup the game with these step-by-step instructions before diving into your turn.

Prepare the season deck
When preparing the season deck, set aside all festival cards and randomly choose one festival card to insert in the middle of each season (each season deck should have 5 cards)

Reveal friend cards
At the start of each season, reveal three friend cards from the top of the friend deck and place them next to the friend deck for socializing

Stock Robin's supplies
Robin has expanded her list to include all building blueprints as construction options, plus wood and stone for sale

Set Robin's inventory
Robin receives 1 wood and 2 stone per player at the start of each season

Prepare ore availability
Clint has a limited selection of ore available for sale each season based on ore grade availability

Draw epic items
Randomly draw three epic item cards and place them revealed next to the Wizard's Tower
7
Set up Vincent's Bait Shop
Prepare Bug Meat available for purchase at the Beach location

On Your Turn

What you can do during your turn.

Trade with teammates
Players may trade items and resource tiles if they are in the same location at any time

Make friends with townsfolk
May make friends with a revealed friend card or draw a card from the top of the friend deck
3
Purchase building supplies
Buy wood and stone from Robin at 2 gold each
4
Purchase ore from Clint
Buy ore at ½ per player of each type available per season (round up), with ore grade depending on the season
5
Pay ore costs
Copper costs 6 gold, Iron costs 10 gold, Gold costs 15 gold, Iridium costs 20 gold

Buy fishing bait (Beach Action)
Spend 1 action to visit Vincent's Bait Shop and buy all the Bug Meat you desire for 2 Gold each

Recycle trash (Beach Action)
Give 5 Trash to Vincent to receive 1 Heart Token

Buy epic items (Forest Action)
Purchase an available epic item card from the Wizard's Tower for 10 Gold

Handle mid-season festivals
When a festival card is revealed, treat it like a bonus event and not as a new round

How to claim victory.

End of season friend management
At the end of each season, put unselected friends in a discard pile

Restock friends if needed
If you run out of friend cards, shuffle the discard and revealed unselected friends to restock the deck

Complete your goals
The basic game can be very challenging or very easy depending on roll luck, number of players, and which goals you are given at the start of the game

Reduce randomness impact
These variant rules are intended to make the game feel more like the beloved video game version by reducing the impact of random dice rolls
