Paths of Glory

2-2 players 480-480 min 8.1 Board Game Geek Rating

Players command opposing forces in WWI using a card-driven system spanning 1914-1918. Each turn involves playing cards from your hand for operational movement, strategic movement, special events, or replacements. Victory requires balancing multiple priorities with limited actions. Central Powers leverage interior lines while Entente uses superior numbers in this innovative recreation of the Great War.

On Your Turn

What you can do during your turn.

1
Turn Structure
A. Mandated Offensive Phase → B. Action Phase (6 rounds) → C. Attrition Phase → D. Siege Phase → E. War Status Phase → F. Replacement Phase → G. Card Draw Phase → H. End of Turn
2
Action Phase
Each round, CP player acts first, then AL player; each plays one action per round
3
Available Actions

Activated units may move up to their Movement Factor; each space costs 1 MP
6
Combat
Units in attack-activated spaces may attack adjacent enemy spaces; both sides determine combat factors, play Combat Cards, roll dice on fire tables, and apply losses

10

11
Supply
Units need supply line to friendly Supply Source; Out of Supply units cannot activate, perform SR, or use Combat Cards
