Choose actions secretly
All players simultaneously choose one action card for each team they control

Determine event card drawer
The player who played the lowest numbered action card draws the event card

Resolve actions in order
Execute each chosen action in ascending numerical order based on action type:

Place support token
Put one support token from the supply on any marine of your choice

Roll for each marine
Each marine on the action card team rolls the die

Check for skull result
If a skull is rolled, choose a genestealer in range and facing to discard

Use support token optionally
If no skull rolled but marine has a support token, discard it to reroll

Switch positions
Each marine of the action card team may switch position with any adjacent marine

Flip facing
Any marine of the action card team may flip their facing direction

Activate terrain
Activate any terrain that a team marine is facing, has the "activate" keyword, and hasn't been activated this round

Process swarms in Z-pattern
Resolve each swarm from left to right, top to bottom

Roll attack die
Roll die and subtract 1 if swarm includes a Brood Lord

Determine marine survival
If result is higher than number of cards in swarm, marine survives

Use support token for defense
If marine has support token and is facing the swarm, discard token to survive; otherwise marine dies

Merge swarms
Combine swarms that share the same position and side

Check travel
If any blip deck is empty, advance to new location

Resolve spawning
For spawn boxes, refer to setup card triangle icons for genestealer numbers, then place genestealers from blip decks onto matching terrain

Move genestealers
For move box, swarms with depicted icons move based on arrow type:

Discard marine
Remove the marine from position "X"

Close formation gap
Determine where fewer marines exist (above or below position X)

Shift remaining units
Move marines/terrain/swarms toward the gap while keeping swarms separated

Reveal new location
Place top card of location deck face up on current location

Discard old terrain
Remove terrain cards but keep swarms in place

Set up new terrain
Place terrain cards based on new location icons

Create new blip decks
Discard old blip decks and create new ones per location card numbers

Resolve entry abilities
Follow any "Upon entering" ability on the new location card
